Drunken Man

You cannot tame a drunken man
Nor can you stop him from dreaming
For he’s on top of the world
And there’s nothing you can do about it

You cannot quieten a drunken man
Nor can you suppress his glee
For he, is for some time in ecstasy galore
He has nothing to lose, but all to lose

You fight a drunken man in futility
For he’s on cloud nine, at a high
He blows a flute, a tune of heightened emotions
Because he met Ambrosia in the flask that his pocket bears
